Parking restrictions on October 20

OCTOBER 20, 2025   

Netflix Productions LLC will be filming scenes for an upcoming feature film in the Hyde Park neighborhood and near the University of Chicago's campus on Monday, October 20. 

In order to park essential vehicles and equipment, there will be NO PARKING/TOW ZONE areas for the following places from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.:

  • Both sides of Woodlawn Avenue from 57th Street to 5621 S. Woodlawn.
  • Both sides of 57th Street from Woodlawn Avenue to 1169 E. 57th Street. 

There will also be brief intermittent traffic control on Monday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Woodlawn Avenue from 56th Street to 57th Street.

Permits and traffic control, if required, are being coordinated with the Chicago Film Office and the Chicago Police Department.

Netflix Productions LLC does not plan to block driveways, loading zones, fire hydrants, bus stops or disabled parking zones.
