UCPD, as part of its Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), is conducting a survey of attitudes and opinions regarding UCPD and our personnel.
An adjustment is being made to increase the efficiency of the Central route and improve timing reliability to continue to meet passenger expectations. Westbound travel along 53rd Street will be shortened before returning to campus via Woodlawn Avenue. This change will be effective Monday, March 25, 2019.
Due to construction, the CTA #172, East and Regents Express are being rerouted.
To comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, the University of Chicago provides resources to inform students, faculty, and staff about safety and security matters that impact our community.
