Service on the South Loop Shuttle ended Friday, December 8, 2017, at the end of the Autumn Quarter.
As a way to educate and strengthen its relationship with the community, the University of Chicago Police Department sponsored Community-Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) Training for its officers and invited members of the neighboring communities to participate.
To comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, the University of Chicago provides resources to inform students, faculty, and staff about safety and security matters that impact our community. The University publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report, which is one of the requirements of the Clery Act. Members of the University community are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the information included in this report.
