Road Closures and Parking Restrictions on April 26

The 2025 Monsters of the Midway bike race will be held on the Midway Plaisance near the University of Chicago's Hyde Park campus on Saturday, April 26. The following streets will be closed to traffic between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Street Closures

Saturday, April 26, 2025
  • Midway Plaisance between Cottage Grove Avenue and Blackstone Avenue
  • South Woodlawn Avenue, between 59th Street and 60th Street
  • South Ellis Avenue, between 59th Street and 60th Street
  • South Dorchester Avenue, between 59th Street and 60th Street.

Additionally, there will be a NO PARKING/TOW ZONE on both sides of Midway Plaisance starting at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 26.
