Downtown Campus Connector

The University of Chicago is launching the Downtown Campus Connector as part of our continued efforts to provide safe and convenient transportation options for students and employees. This shuttle bus, part of the UGo Shuttle System, is designed to connect the Hyde Park campus with the Gleacher Center and downtown UChicago Medicine clinics.
The Downtown Campus Connector will begin partial service on Monday, January 9, with possibly extended wait times between shuttles; the route will be fully operational by Tuesday, January 17. Shuttles will run the route continuously Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., excluding holidays, with approximately 20 minutes between shuttles. Shuttle service is free to all members of the University community by tapping your ID.
The route consists of the following stops:
- Hyde Park
- E. 59th St. and S. Woodlawn Ave., providing access to the Booth School of Business and central campus
- Goldblatt Pavilion at E. 59th St. and S. Maryland Ave., providing access to the University of Chicago Medical Center
- E. Hyde Park Blvd. at S. Blackstone Ave. and S. Lake Park Ave. for off-campus students and employees
- Downtown Chicago
- The corner of S. Michigan Ave. and E. Roosevelt Rd.
- The Gleacher Center at 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Dr.
- UChicago Medicine River East at 335 E. Grand Ave.
- UChicago Medicine South Loop at 1104 S. Canal St.
- Roosevelt Red, Orange, and Green Line CTA station at 1167 S. State St.
