UCPD Receives IACLEA Accreditation

On June 5, 2019, UCPD achieved accreditation from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Agencies (IACLEA), due to the department’s commitment and support of IACLEA’s standards. This makes the UCPD only the third private university agency in the U.S. to achieve dual CALEA/IACLEA accreditation. We are extremely proud of our dual accreditation status.

Campus public safety leaders at more than 1,000 institutions of higher education are represented by IACLEA. IACLEA offers accreditation to university law enforcement, public safety and security departments. Accreditation from IACLEA requires the department to conform to the highest level of professional standards for campus public safety.
