Getting Around

Travel Options

The University of Chicago provides many services to help you and your group travel around campus and Hyde Park. Did you know that weekdays from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Transportation Services runs up to five shuttle routes? And that NightRide starts at 5 p.m. with four routes and runs until early morning, seven days a week?

The University also has an agreement with the Chicago Transit Authority to provide service on four CTA routes serving campus. In total, Transportation & Parking Services managed more than 2.3 million rides last year.

Starting Autumn Quarter 2014, all UGo Shuttle riders are asked to tap their valid University of University of Chicago Medicine ID on a card reader each time they board a shuttle. See the Shuttle ID Guidelines page for more information.
