Since August 4th, 2019, UCPD has worked on a follow-up investigation into a crime in which a University student walking at 1101 E. 56th Street was struck on the back of the head by an unknown suspect who then fled in an unknown direction. Following an investigation that included review of extensive security camera footage to identify the suspect, UCPD has arrested a juvenile suspect who was subsequently charged with Aggravated Battery.
