Security Alert: Saturday, April 23, 2016

At approximately 4:05 a.m., Saturday, April 23 – A University student was talking to an acquaintance in the vestibule of an off-campus apartment building on South Kenwood Avenue near 58th Street, when he displayed a handgun, pushed the victim to the floor and fondled her. The victim screamed and the suspect fled from the building. The victim suffered minor injuries to her knee and elbow but declined medical assistance. Chicago police are investigating.
