Gloria Graham began serving as the Assistant Vice President for Police Services/Assistant Chief of Police for the University of Chicago in February 2012.
Before coming to Chicago, Graham served as the Chief of Police for the University of Tennessee flagship campus in Knoxville Tennessee. She was also the Assistant Chief of Police with Duke University and held senior level management positions with the University of Southern California and Florida Atlantic University Police Department. She began her campus law enforcement career in her hometown of Terre Haute IN with Indiana State University.

Diane Ziarno is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director Management Operations within the Department of Safety and Security. Reporting to the Associate Vice President and Chief of Police, Diane provides departmental oversight for project management, the budget, human resources and administrative functions supporting all Departmental units within Safety and Security. Diane is a Chicago native and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Theresa Fletcher-Brown is Director of Transportation and Parking Services with the Department of Safety and Security Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President and Chief of Police, Theresa administers campus-wide parking and the University’s comprehensive transportation programs. Theresa is a Chicago native and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from DePaul University.

John Matherson is the Director of Security Systems. Reporting to the Associate Vice President and Chief of Police, John provides management and oversight of all security systems involving access control, alarm systems, emergency telephones, and security cameras both at the University of Chicago, and at the University of Chicago Medical Center. John is a native of North Carolina and holds both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
