Injured Student Main Quadrangle Pedestrian Zone Transportation
All bus transportation that is on the University of Chicago campus is ADA-accessible. This transportation includes all Chicago Transit Authority routes 170, 171, 172, and 192. The Evening shuttles and SafeRide also provide ADA-accessible transportation.
The Dial-A-Ride Program is a complimentary door-to-door bus transportation service for students who have completed and been approved for the ADA accommodation process. Service for the transportation to and from regularly scheduled classes is arranged and reserved at the beginning of the quarter. Transportation for additional classes or University activities can be scheduled 24 hours in advance by contacting the Transportation Office at 773-795-6108.
Effective January 4, 2010, Dial-A-Ride will provide service into the Main Quadrangle Pedestrian Zone for the Injured Student Program. Participating students must contact the Office of Campus and Student Life. Transportation into the Main Quadrangle Pedestrian Zone area can be arranged for academic purposes only by contacting bus@uchicago.edu.
